Soliciting Undergraduate Student Poster Award Submissions

Showcase your hard work and research to the scientific community! Winners receive an honorarium and will have their posters prominently displayed at the Portland convention. Hurry - the submission portal closes October 31.

Student Committee Nominations Now Open

Build your professional network and help shape the future vision of SPSP as a member of the Student Committee. Four positions on the 2019-20 committee will be open to candidates. Nominate yourself or a peer by October 26.

SPSP Summer Internship Program Accepting Applications

SPUR offers undergraduates from underrepresented ethnic groups the opportunity to access research opportunities that might not be available at their college or university. Students receive a $3000 stipend to cover living expenses and up to $500 to cover travel to their summer research site. Students graduating in Summer 2019, Fall 2019, or Spring 2020 are invited to apply by November 10. Read about the experiences of our 2018 SPUR participants.

Apply for the SPSP 2019 Small Grants Competition

Inside the Grant Panel returns to our Portland Convention! A live panel will pick a winner to receive a $5,000 research grant and two runners-up will each receive $2,500. Apply by December 1.

Apply for the 2019 Summer Institute for Social and Personality Psychology

Offered bi-annually, this intensive, two-week summer experience offers unique courses and workshops led by the top researchers and teachers in the field. 100 pre-doctoral students will be selected to attend the July 2019 Institute at New York University. Applications open November 1.

Writers Needed for #SPSP2019!

SPSP is seeking up to six psychology students to contribute as eDaily interns in Portland. Successful candidates will interview member scientists, write articles on sessions, and translate science for the daily convention e-newsletter. Applications due by October 31, 2018.
